Far From the Fairgrounds
A downloadable game
You are a circus kid. You grew up with other circus families as part of the world-famous Big Top Circus. But now, completely by accident, you and your friends are lost deep in the Bewilderness. Alone, with only what you happened to have in your pockets, you must rely on your unique circus skills and kidlike abilities to survive the mysterious and magical forest on your way back home. However, you have heard of an evil witch, Rhubarb the Wicked, who dwells in these woods. Surely she has a way for you to get back home, though you will need all of your wits to survive… Far from the Fairgrounds.
Inspired by the brilliant miniature RPGs by Grant Howitt and the charming animated show Over the Garden Wall, this 2-page adventure written by Andrew Maust and Illustrated by Bekah Unsworth is a simple, whimsical, and delightful tabletop role playing game adventure for 3-6 players.

What a precious game! Thinking about all the potential wholesome stories that could play out made me tear up a bit. It's a great change of pace compared to more action/adult rpgs.
